Noticed I haven't made a journal in a while. Not much going on atm, still recovering from having all 4 wisdom teeth removed. Also started watching Steven Universe and now I'm addicted lol. Can't believe I waited so long to finally decide to watch this! (also no spoilers please I haven't caught up yet xP) But yeah it's really good, so far I'd say it's my 2nd favourite cartoon I've watched in the past year (after Gravity Falls). Plus unlike when I watched Gravity Falls this show isn't nearly over yet

Life Update
Just a little update on my life and why I've been uploading so little this year.
For numerous reasons I've been having less and less motivation to draw lately. A huge part of that is probably because of all the work that needed to be done during my master's degree (I might post some of the art I did for my project here though now that I've finished university). I was starting to get back into drawing again this summer when something else happened...
My mum passed away this September. It was sudden and unexpected, and doesn't hurt any less now than when I first heard the news. So drawing hasn't been something I've really wanted to do. I'm st

I don't have much to add to what's already been said, but just that he was a great person who always encouraged and praised my work, and helped me feel like my art was worth something when I would doubt it. If I regret anything it was not reading as much of his writings as I wanted to before now. But I'm gratefull for all he's done for me, and he will be missed.

Ooh nice. ^^ Believe it or not, I've also slowly immersed myself in watching a couple modern cartoons from The Loud House and to an extent, Adventure Time. X)
