The Wolf Children Ame and Yuki Stamp by CartoonSilverFox The Wolf Children Ame and Yuki Stamp by CartoonSilverFox
Saw this film a few days ago. I'd been wanting to see it for months, and I must say it is awesome :la: Loved it :D

Anyway I couldn't find a stamp on dA of it, so I decided why not make one myself? :) Plus this is the first time I've done a properly animated one like this, and I think it turned out alright (took me 2 hours to figure out though :/)

Feel free to use ^^

To use a stamp you copy and past the Thumbnail of the stamp (found on the right hand side of the page under 'details') onto the page you wish to use it. Hopefully that helps ^^

This movie needs a sequal T_T I loved the movie but felt like the ending "separated them too much"- they need something to

bring them back X(!

It doesn't really need a sequel. There'd have to be some sort of weird and possibly unnecessary plot. A sequel itself would be unnecessary in my opinion. :P

My biggest issue with anime right now is it just seems to be more and more mass produced and poorly written. I feel like the most predictable and cheap plot elements are used half the time just to advance a by-enlarge uninteresting story. Where's the surprise? Where's the originality? Whatever happened to emotionally relating to the reader? I guess a good analogy to use is to compare potato chips to a gourmet red velvet cake. They're both shitty for you, but one is meant to be mindlessly crunched on and make you fat, while the other is a once-in-several-years opportunity that leaves you walking away with a greater sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. I totally ripped that analogy off of Egoraptor, btw. Ok, so yeah, that's a summary of my complaint against most of what I've seen Japan release in the more recent years. Now, granted, for the past two years I've not really been actively looking at new anime (mainly because, due to the reasons stated above, it has lost my interest), but still, no one's made any recommendations to me so far that I was actually impressed with/inspired by (mainly because most of the recommendations were hentei, or a very cleverly disguised soft-core child porn. My poor diluted friends. They live in a dream where they like to not think of themselves as perverts). And then Wolf Children happened, and I was like, "Fuck...I actually felt ok with Japan for a moment." Still, I would like to see an entire series, even if it's just a short series, pull off the emotional impact that Wolf Children did *COUGH**HaibanRenmei**COUGH*. Ok, I'm gonna stop here, 'cause it's like, 3:30 in the morning and I'm tired as fuck. I'm sorry if all of the above made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Goodnight, and have a good day-after-mother's-day day.

Dude I feel the same way. It seems Japan has been focusing more on the fanservice than the actual story. Though, I have noticed some good ones in recent years like Madoka.
